Event proceeds will also help to supply survivors with group support, financial assistance and medical equipment when they need it the most.Stroke is the leading cause of adult disability in the United States.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reports that stroke costs the U.S. an estimated $34 billion each year; Brain Injury rehabilitation is estimated to costs $9 to $10 billion each year.The 2020 Comeback Trail Atlanta 5K/1 Mile  will also feature the inaugural ‘Rehab and Beyond Champions Stroll’, a modified wheelchair and assisted device friendly celebratory processional recognizing all participating survivors.
